INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Lucas Oil Raceway hosted its 16th Wild Wednesday of 2019 on July 24. Wild Wednesday is Lucas Oil Raceway's weekly test and tune program open to dragsters, motorcycles, and other street legal vehicles. On Wednesday night, approximately 131 drivers participated in the Wild Wednesday with participants ranging from junior dragsters to street legal trucks to motorcycles. Weather conditions were near perfect with the first run taking place in 78-degrees before falling to the low-70’s before the end of the night. Plenty of sun, low humidity, and a light breeze proved to be prime conditions for adults, children, and the family dog alike.

-Larry Sloan: 131.05 MPH
-Robert Browning: 126.18 MPH
-Rob Shrake: 147.74 MPH
-Jim Vance: 140.31 MPH
Each Wednesday for Wild Wednesday at Lucas Oil Raceway, gates open at 5 p.m. for racers and spectators with the first races beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. The cost to races is $25 while spectators are $10. Children 12-and-under receive free admission to Wild Wednesday.
Lucas Oil Raceway will also host Street Car Takeover on Saturday and Sunday with over $20,000 in cash payouts. Gates will open to races at noon on Saturday and 1:30 p.m. for spectators. Weekend passes for spectators can be purchased for $35 while single-day passes are $20. Children 12-and-under receive free admission. Racers can purchase a $70 weekend tech card or a $45 single day tech card. The event will feature a live DJ, Mobile Dyno, a car show, grudge racing, and roll racing over the course of the weekend.
